My First Horizon Group Home, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to provide quality residential placement, advocate safety, dignity, independence and civil rights for individuals with developmental disabilities, invites our special gifted population to enjoy an afternoon of community integration at the 3rd “First Horizon Community Fun Day”, the first of its class in Florida,
My First Horizon in conjunction with PR Fiestas Patronales & Business Expo work together to provide an opportunity for our special population to integrate with the community in a all together fun day. They are invited free of admission, to enjoy free carnival rides, to ride free the world biggest inflatable slide and to visit the various booth that will give out candies and other souvenirs for them to take home. We will have basketball hoops competitions, performers on stage, dance classes, opportunity to win prizes, as well as a fashion show where we will have the opportunity to see some of our children participating. Parents, Guardians and care takers will only pay $2.50 admission.
we will have the presence of the Social Security and Medicare to answer question.

We are expecting to have experts to answer questions regarding Speech, Occupational, Physical, and Behavioral therapy needs, information regarding different disabilities and helpful hints on how to assist their needs.

All this will take place at Pines Recreational Center, 7400 Pines Blvd. Pembroke Pines, Fl 33024, during the celebration of the 8th Annual PR Fiestas Patronales & Business Expo, the biggest Hispanic Cultural festival in Broward County.
